(Frequently Asked Questions)
Question:What is the effect of the Motion Sensitivity control ? |
Answer:This control determines the level of movement required to trigger the detection of an intrusion in the scene. A high sensitivity means that small changes in the image should be detected. Lower values decrease the sensitivity. |
Question:How to setup the software to record on separate files on the hard disk and to create a new file for each day? |
Answer:You can set this task using the Scheduler. In "Recording System" you can choose to activate recording manually, by a scheduler or by motion. Click "Scheduler" from the "Tools" menu. Then choose "Day of Week". Select "Enable Scheduler" and click the "Add Schedule" button. In the new schedule select "All Cameras", "All Days" and set the "Work Period" from 12:00:00 AM to 11:59:00 PM. Select "Record". The new scheduled task will create a new file at midnight, write it during the day and close this file after midnight. |
