This page contains information
concerned with the stereo sequence "Cortile". We provide: the rectified
stereo sequences, the disparity maps (for five settings 1, 2, ,4 , 8,
16 of the subpixel parameter) computed by the
SMP stereo
algorithm (
settings for 320x240 resolution and
settings for 640x480 resolution)
and the parameters for obtaining the 3D depth measurements (see
README files). Disparity
maps are encoded with RGB images (saved with OpenCV) as described in
the
README
file and below.
Two sequences (in bitmap file format) are available:
background sequence
("bck") and
moving
people sequence.
Both sequences and disparity maps (for five settings 1, 2, ,4 , 8,
16 of the subpixel parameter) computed by the
SMP stereo
algorithm are available at 320x240 and 640x480 resolution.
A spreadsheet characterizing the stereo rig is also available
here; the mandatory parameters of the spreadsheet are
SCALE (SCALE=2 for 320x240 images and SCALE=1 for 640x480 images) and
SUBPIXEL (1, 2, 4, 8, 16).
Valid disparity values for both sequences, resolutions and subpixel parameter are encoded with 16 bit (using 2 out of 3
RGB channels):
** Valid disparity **
Channel 0: Least significant byte
Channel 1: Most significant byte
Channel 3: 0
** Invalid disparity **
Channel 0: 0
Channel 1: 128
Channel 3: 255
